ITINERARY: 12 DAYS

Day 1: Kayseri - GoremeYou will be met by our tour leader, and thentransferred to our pension in Goreme.According to arrival time, there might be a chance for a warm up walk in one of thehidden valleys of Goreme. Overnight in Goreme. Pension

Day 2: White Valley - Uchisar - PigeonValley

We’ll walk in Akvadi (White or Love Valley)following an old river, with fruit gardens,vineyards and interesting shaped fairy  chimneys. At noon, arrive in Uchisar village tvisit the high viewpoint known as "fortress" (avolcanic ash peak). In the afternoon, walk in the pigeon valley, called so because of thenumerous "pigeon houses" to Goreme. Theremay be an opportunity to have a relaxing  “Turkish Bath-Hamam” (Optional). Day 3: Ihlara Valley – Underground City Drive to Ihlara Valley for our full day walk inthis hidden valley. Lunch will be at one of the riverside restaurants. In the afternoon, wewill visit Derinkuyu Underground city on theway back to our pension in Goreme. Time allowing we visit a craft workshop where weare given a lecture on the art of Anatoliancarpet weaving. Pension

Day 4: Red Valley - Bozdag Mountain –CavusinIn the morning, there is an opportunity totake hot air balloon flight over Cappadocia region, a lifetime unforgettable experiencethrough the rock settlements to theCappadocia`s well known Red Valley(Kizilcukur). Lunch will be in the valley. In the afternonn, we will walk up to the Bozdagmountain for the 360° scenery of the regionand finish our walk in Cavusin village.Overnight in Goreme. Pension

Day 5: Emli Valley (Mt Taurus)After our warm-up days in Cappadocia, wehead to Taurus Mountains. After lunch in Cukurbag village at the foot of Taurus, we willstart our trek to our first camp in Emli Valley1850 m.) Camp

Day 6: Emli Valley - Alaca Plateau  In the morning start trekking east throughthe pine forest, then climb up to south to theAlaca Plateau (2450 m.) over rock and scree.In the plateau we may meet with the nomadsthat live here during the summer to grazetheir flocks. Then descend to our camp in EmliValley (1850 m). Camp

Day 7: Emli - Sokullupinar After breakfast start trekking east throughthe pine forest to Aksam Pinari and thenclimb up to northwest to the Eznevit Plateau (2500 m.), another summer nomad place.After lunch we will descend to our campsite atSokulupinar (2000 m). Camp

Day 8: Cimbar - Sokullupinar In the morning, we will walk up to north tothe Arpalik Pasture where will start ourCimbar Canyon descend. This rocky and narrow canyon starts from the foot of thehighest mountain of the range - MtDemirkazik and goes to Demirkazik village. After lunch return to our campsite atSokulupinar (2000 m). Camp

Day 9: Sokullupinar - Mt Emler (3723 m)

- Yedigoller

Today we’ll walk up to southeast till theCelikbuyduran pass (3450 m.) over rock andscree. After a short break by the spring, we will ascent the last passage of the Mt Emlersummit. This is a non-technical trek. The viewfrom the summit is simply stunning. Then we’ll descend to the Yedigoller plateau (SevenLakes). The area is covered with snow untilmid July and the scenery is spectacular. Our camp in next to nomad families. (3100 m.)Camp

Day 10: SOGUKPİNAR After breakfast we’ll trek to the east aroundthe lakes on the gradually plateau. Our trekwill take us to the steep descent of Hacer Valley. After lunch in the forest we’ll walk toour Sogukpinar camp. Camp

Day 11: Kapuzbasi Waterfalls In the morning we’ll walk through the pineforest where we’ll have chance to enjoy coldwaters of the river at lunch time. By following the river our trek will reach to Kapuzbasicamp by the waterfalls of many strength and sizes flood from the rock. Camp

Day 12: Kayseri

Transfer to the Kayseri airport.
